This is the final double page spread for my music magazine. I created the interview for the the double page spread myself and made up the Indie rock band name; Eccentric. The background for the double page spread was also created by myself using Adobe Fireworks. The idea was to create something that was visually appealing and attractive, as well as to create something that was a little different to other magazines so that it would fit in with the 'unusual' aspect of the genre. When creating the double page spread, like the front cover and the contents page, I worked closely with existing magazines within the Indie Rock genre in order to create a professional looking page.

This is my final music magazine contents page. As with the final front cover, I went through several stages of changing parts of the contents page in order that it looked professional and followed the conventions of a typical contents page, following closely existing contents pages within the genre I was following.

This is my final front cover for my music magazine. I went through several stages of changing the cover numerous times in order to produce a professional looking front cover that worked well for the genre, Indie Rock

This is the contents page to my school magazine. Once again, as with the improved version of my front cover, I followed the conventions of other existing magazines in order to get a professional looking layout. This was the final version of my contents page which I produced as part of the school magazine for my Preliminary Project.

This is the front cover of my school magazine after I had improved it from the last version (Front Cover Original). When creating this version of the front cover, I followed the conventions of existing magazines much more closely than I did for the original version and therefore this version looks much more professional in terms of the layout etc. This was my final version of the front cover for a school magazine of which I created as part of my Preliminary Project.

This is the original version of my school magazine that I created for my Preliminary Project. However, soon after completing this version, I decided to change the magazine completely, due to the fact that I felt this one was to basic and I was told that I should use photographs of my own rather than the cartoon image, just like I would have to do when I was making the music magazine for my coursework itself.
